Romanian Postal Service Launches Modern Printing Division

The national postal operator, Poșta Română, has inaugurated a new division called Poșta Tipografie. The launch includes a state‑of‑the‑art digital production line that can print up to 1,500 copies per hour, handling the entire process from digital file to finished book.

The investment exceeds €2 million and targets publishers, public institutions and private companies, offering fast turnaround and high‑quality output. The opening ceremony was attended by government officials and academic representatives, including Prof. Dr. Mireille Rădoi of the Central University Library "Carol I", who discussed the continued relevance of printed books in the digital era.
