Romanian President Nicușor Dan reveals daughter's love for theater

President of Romania Nicușor Dan told media that his 10‑year‑old daughter Aheea is passionate about theater, currently preferring to play a negative character after previously wanting to be the Fairy of Fairies. He explained that he and his longtime partner Mirabela Grădinaru chose the name Aheea together; the couple have been together for about 20 years and also have a four‑year‑old son, Antim.

In a separate editorial, the president was sharply criticized for what the author described as political incompetence. The piece alleged that Dan blocked anti‑extremism legislation, hindered justice reform, and aligned himself with various political figures, calling him the de‑facto leader of the PSD and accusing him of undermining democratic initiatives.
