Romanian reality show “Mireasa” finale draws family drama

Contestant Alexandru reached the "Mireasa" final without his parents or other relatives present. During the ceremony he said he still loves and forgives his parents, stating, "They gave me life and will be my parents until the end of my life," and emphasized he would not turn the absence into a public conflict.

Former participant Maria Lungu publicly attacked the return of Darius and his mother Melinda, who had come back from France to support Alexandru before his wedding to Giulia. Lungu argued that their presence was unwelcome, recalling that they were eliminated by public vote on July 3 and accusing viewers of not wanting them on the show.
