Romanian road collisions injure multiple people, including child

Two serious traffic incidents occurred in Romania on Saturday morning. In Piatra‑Neamț, Neamț County, two cars collided on Mihai Viteazul Street around 08:20. The three occupants – a woman, a man and a six‑year‑old girl – were evacuated and taken to hospital for treatment. Emergency services, including firefighters, police and SMURD ambulances, secured the scene and began investigations.

Later, on National Road 67 at the Gorj‑Mehedinţi border near Florești, a 19‑year‑old driver from Mehedinţi entered on the wrong side and struck a car registered in Gorj. Five people were in the two vehicles; three required medical care on site, while all remained conscious. Firefighters, SMURD crews and ambulance teams from both counties responded, and police opened an investigation into the causes of the crash.
