Romanian Royal Family celebrates 30th wedding anniversary

The Romanian Royal Family celebrated the 30th wedding anniversary of Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Crown, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu. The commemoration took place at Elisabeth Palace and included a reception and a musical concert.

Guests included Princess Sofia, Princess Maria, and representatives from organizations under royal patronage, such as the Romanian Red Cross and the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee. The musical program, performed by the Royal Choir and a children's orchestra conducted by Răzvan Apetrei, featured works by Bach, John Lennon, and Elvis Presley.

The couple originally held their religious wedding ceremony on September 21, 1996, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
