Romanian TikTok star Fulgy released from psychiatric hospital

Fulgy, the son of the Clejani folk‑music duo, was discharged from the Alexandru Obregia Psychiatric Hospital in Bucharest after nearly two months of confinement. He had been detained following a live TikTok broadcast in which he threatened to blow up his apartment block, prompting police intervention and his subsequent admission to the facility. While hospitalized, Fulgy reportedly made unusual requests of staff, including demanding they speak to him exclusively in English and claiming ties to former U.S. President Donald Trump. Shortly after his release on 23 June, he returned to TikTok, addressing his followers in a brief live session and stating that he was “free” and “doing well.”
