Romanian SMEs offered AI training slots and e‑signature guidance

Raiffeisen Bank Romania and Social Innovation Solutions have opened the remaining 100 places in the free Business Forward program, which aims to accelerate artificial‑intelligence adoption among small and medium‑sized enterprises. More than 300 companies enrolled in the first two months, receiving digital education modules developed by the Harvard Business School AI Institute and the chance to compete for grants worth up to 1 000 000 lei. “Ionț Pătrăhău, vice‑president of Raiffeisen Bank Romania, said that adopting AI is now an essential decision for entrepreneurs to stay competitive.”

Separately, the Stup entrepreneurial community, in partnership with Namirial, published a guide on electronic signatures. It explains the three eIDAS‑regulated types – Simple, Advanced and Qualified – and how they give contracts the same legal weight as handwritten signatures, allowing Romanian businesses to complete agreements remotely and reduce paperwork.
