Romanian student and teacher achieve notable education milestones
A student from Botoșani County was admitted to Liceul Tehnologic "Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt" in Vorona with an average grade of 1.35 and has chosen the horticulturist technician track. The county's computerized admission process placed 2,497 of 2,498 applicants, leaving one unassigned, and scheduled the next admission stages for July–August 2026.
In Alba Iulia, educator Beatrice Maria Gomboș secured the second‑highest average (9.82) among candidates at the 2026 Definitivat exam for early‑career teachers. She scored 9.75 on the written portion and a perfect 10 on classroom inspections. Gomboș, a graduate of the National Pedagogical College "Regina Maria" in Deva, currently works at the "Licurici" kindergarten and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in primary and preschool pedagogy at the University of "1 Decembrie 1918". She highlighted the need to reduce bureaucracy and increase support for novice teachers.
