Romanian Tax Authority Rolls Out Digital Services and Auctions Confiscated Jewelry
The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) in Romania has expanded its digital offerings, allowing taxpayers to access the Virtual Private Space (SPV) platform to view debts, payment history, and official documents, and to request a free tax clearance certificate. The service also integrates the Ghișeul.ro portal for checking and paying local taxes, with information supplied by municipal administrations.
Separately, ANAF’s Gorj County office is conducting public auctions of confiscated gold and silver Marches. Two lots, reduced by 25% from their assessed values, include hundreds of ornaments weighing a total of over 250 grams of gold and more than 800 grams of silver. Participation requires a fee, and the auctions run until 8 August 2026, aiming to sell 2,186 pieces to new owners.
