Romanian TIFF Summer Film Events Return to Breb and Bucharest

The TIFF Caravan returns to the Casa din Vale Breb in Maramureș for a two‑day outdoor film programme on 11‑12 July. The free event will feature open‑air screenings, creative workshops, live DJ sets, local gastronomy and a social atmosphere in the village courtyard.

In Bucharest, the Elvire Popesco cinema will host the "Retrospectiva TIFF 25" from 9‑12 July. The curated selection showcases films from the 25th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival, including titles such as Lionel, Donnie Darko, O iubire a lui Swann, and The Stranger, among others. Tickets are sold online and the programme is supported by the French Institute in Romania. The retrospective will later travel to other Romanian cities and to Chișinău, Moldova.
