Romanian towns Buzău and Galaţi host summer educational camps for children

In Buzău, about 200 children enrolled in the "Tabăra Urbană – Vacanța de vară 2026" program, a nature‑focused summer camp held at the Casa Grădinarului educational centre in Parcul Marghiloman. Running from 5 August to 4 September, the camp offers workshops on environmental protection, permaculture and sustainable living, aiming to connect youngsters with nature through hands‑on activities.

In Galaţi, roughly 100 children participated in the "Vacanţă în pridvorul bisericii" project organized by Cercul Misionar nr. 2 of the Protoieria Galaţi. Held at the Saint Anthony the Great Day Centre, the day combined games, creative workshops and religious instruction, including poetry recitals, icon painting and prayer activities, to provide a faith‑based learning experience during the school holidays.
