Romanian towns Fălticeni and Cătunele host community festivals in 2026

The 2026 edition of Zilele Municipiului Fălticeni featured a ceremony honoring 115 students who achieved top results on national exams, awarding a total of 78,000 lei in prizes, and a religious procession called “Calea Sfinților.”

In the neighbouring commune of Cătunele, authorities announced that the annual Zilele Comunei will be celebrated without invited professional artists. Mayor Florinel Țuilă redirected the budget to ongoing local development projects, opting for a program of performances by children and youth from Cătunele and nearby villages on 27 July 2026 at 19:00.
