Romanian towns Lugoj and Arad host regional cycling competitions

The 15th edition of the Cupa Max Ausnit took place in Lugoj, drawing more than 250 cyclists from eight countries. Local riders Noelle Priscilla Darabant Husanu won the Elite Feminin Open, while Tiziano Balia claimed second place in the Masculin 50+ category. The event awarded a total prize fund of 34,000 lei.

In Arad, the 13th Căsoaia Bike, Run & Fun festival was organized by Euromediu Pro Sport with support from the Arad County Council. The weekend featured mountain‑bike and e‑bike races, trail‑running competitions for ages 2 to 60, children’s activities, live concerts, and a camp‑fire evening, attracting about 150 participants from the region.
