Romanian travel agencies expand exotic offers as Seychelles eyes growing Romanian market

Romanian tourism operators are launching new luxury and long‑stay packages for high‑spending travellers despite a broader economic slowdown. Major agencies such as Paralela 45 and Christian Tour are adding exotic destinations, securing charter routes with partners like LOT Polish Airlines and expanding their own airline fleet to keep ticket prices stable even as kerosene costs rise. They are targeting both early‑booking discounts and last‑minute deals, with a focus on five‑star all‑inclusive resorts on the Black Sea coast and beyond.

At the same time, the Seychelles Tourism Board is positioning Romania as a strategic market in Eastern Europe. In an interview, representative Lena Hoareau noted that Romanian visitors have moved the destination up to third place among Central and Eastern European markets. Seychelles plans to deepen ties with Romanian travel agencies through education programmes and joint promotions, aiming to convert growing interest into higher visitor numbers and diversified experiences beyond beach leisure.
