Romanian universities expand academic offerings

Several Romanian universities are expanding their academic offerings to meet labor market demands and increase internationalization.

The University of Oradea is launching three new undergraduate programs starting this autumn. Two of these, Communication and Emerging Media and Dentistry, will be taught in English to attract international students. A third program, Early Childhood Education, will be conducted in Romanian. Enrollment for these programs is scheduled to begin on September 1.

In Arad, Aurel Vlaicu University is introducing five new study programs for the September 2026 admission session. The new offerings include three undergraduate degrees—Applied Automation and Informatics (taught in English), Human Resources, and Early Childhood Education—and two master's programs: Artificial Intelligence (taught in English) and Advanced Systems in Automotive Engineering.
