Romanian vloggers hail Africa as a rejuvenating vacation haven

Two Romanian vloggers, known online as “haihuin2,” posted a series of Instagram images from Zambia, describing Africa as a place that offers a reset, freedom and learning. They praised the continent’s simple lifestyle, the happiness of its people despite hardships, and said trips there leave them eager to return.

At the same time, a travel‑dating trend dubbed “wanderlove,” coined by Bumble, is gaining popularity. According to a Bumble survey, 53% of users hope to experience romance while on holiday, and about one‑third of solo travelers use dating apps to meet new people abroad. The same poll says roughly 60% of such vacation‑started relationships succeed, though challenges like distance and travel costs remain.
