CSM Iași 2020 appointed Portuguese coach Ana Cristina Teixeira Seabra, a former European cup winner, to lead the team in the 2026‑27 Liga Florilor. Seabra highlighted the league’s strength and announced a technical staff that includes assistant coach Andreea Dinu and physical trainer Joao Vieira Mesquita. The squad, mixing returning players with new signings from Portugal, France, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Montenegro, will undergo medical checks and a training camp in Vatra Dornei starting 16 July, with the club targeting a top‑10 finish.

CS Minaur Baia Mare also released its preseason schedule. The team, coached by David Ginesta Montes, will play its first test match on 5 August against league champions Gloria Bistrița. It will then compete in an international tournament in Michalovce, Slovakia (7‑9 August) and a second tournament hosted by Bistrița (14‑16 August) featuring clubs from Hungary and Romania. The preparation will conclude with a home friendly tournament (21‑23 August) inviting teams from Slovakia, HC Zalău and CSM Iași.

Both clubs aim to finalize their rosters and evaluate performance ahead of the upcoming Romanian women’s handball season.
