Romania education exam National Evaluation 2026 high pass rates perfect 10 scores top county results

The 2026 National Evaluation (Evaluarea Națională) showed a 90.2% promotion rate in Cluj County, the highest in the country after Bucharest, while the national average pass rate stood at 79%. Seven pupils achieved a perfect 10 average nationwide, highlighting exceptional individual performance.

Notable high achievers include Ștefăniţă Gale from Călărași (Dolj) with a 10 in Mathematics and 9.85 in Romanian, David Lupșan and Darius Ianoș from Alba Iulia with the only 10s in Mathematics and Romanian respectively in Alba, and Petru Știr, the sole student in Prahova to earn a 10 average. Marta Andreea Prisada of Buzău topped her county with a 10 in Romanian and 9.85 in Mathematics and chose a Mathematics‑Informatics profile for high school.

Other counties reported strong results: Harghita recorded an 80.5% pass rate with a top average of 9.70, while Sălaj saw 75.2% pass and a highest average of 9.85. Overall, the exam highlighted regional disparities and celebrated outstanding student performances across Romania.
