The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) reported that almost 100,000 taxpayers responded to a nationwide service‑quality survey, giving the in‑person tax office a rating of 4.1 out of 5 and the new digital portals scores of 3.6‑3.7. The results will guide further modernization of ANAF’s online services.

ANAF also announced that, starting 27 July, it will issue tax‑assessment decisions to individuals who failed to file the 2021 Unified Declaration or filed it with errors. The fiscal authority will calculate taxes on the basis of identified undeclared income, in accordance with the Fiscal Procedure Code.

Meanwhile, the Agency for Rural Investment Funding (AFIR) introduced a temporary measure to keep the solar‑energy funding round on schedule after a cyber‑attack disabled the cadastral system. Applicants can enter “0” for the land‑registry extract field and attach a self‑declaration, with the missing documents to be verified later. The measure applies from 24 July to 14 August 2026 for the 265 million‑euro EU fund supporting photovoltaic projects.
