Romania's DNA completes €2.5 million PNRR digitalisation project

The National Anti‑Corruption Directorate (DNA) in Romania announced the completion of a digitalisation project financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The initiative cost 12.708 million lei (about €2.5 million), with over €2 million in non‑recoverable EU funds. It provided new workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, document destroyers, Office licences and solutions for data backup and infrastructure monitoring.

The upgrades aim to modernise DNA's IT infrastructure, support its digital transformation, improve electronic handling of reports and procedural documents, and ensure technical compatibility with the ECRIS V case‑management system. The project, contracted in March 2024, is part of PNRR milestone 164 for the digitalisation of the judicial system and is scheduled for completion by June 2026.
