Romania's The Voice features surprise contestant Cabral and standout Otilia Teletin

The latest edition of the musical competition ‘The Voice of Romania’ (Vocea României) featured both a surprise performance and a notable breakthrough contestant.

Television presenter Cabral Ibacka stepped away from his hosting duties to appear as a surprise contestant during the blind auditions. Despite his extensive experience in live television, Cabral reported feeling significant tension and vulnerability while preparing for his vocal performance. He underwent rigorous vocal training and warm-ups behind the scenes to prepare for the stage.

Additionally, Otilia Teletin, a singer from Vaslui, achieved a major milestone by convincing all four coaches to turn their chairs during her performance of ‘Lume, lume’. Teletin, who has a background in law and studied at the ‘Soul Music Art’ Canto School, ultimately chose to join Tudor Chirilă’s team following praise from coaches Smiley, Irina Rimes, and Horia Brenciu.
