Romano Gazzera Exhibition Opens at Palazzo Lascaris in Turin

To mark the 120th anniversary of artist Romano Gazzera's birth, Palazzo Lascaris in Turin hosts the exhibition “Romano Gazzera. Nel regno dei fiori giganti” until 10 October. Curated by Giulia Caffaro, the show is organized by the Fondazione Romano Gazzera in partnership with the Piemonte Regional Council, the Fondazione CRT and the City of Turin. It presents 27 paintings and archival material that highlight Gazzera’s focus on nature.

The exhibition is complemented by large‑scale “giant flower” installations placed across several Turin cultural sites, including Palazzo Chiablese, the Accademia Albertina, the Museo Accorsi, the Botanical Garden, the University of Turin’s Department of Biotechnology and the Fondazione Romano Gazzera headquarters. Accessibility measures feature audio‑visual content, tactile panels, Easy‑to‑Read texts and an olfactory route designed by Valeria Pelle‑We4you Consulting with Opificio Olfattivo, inspired by three of the artist’s works. Admission is free; guided tours are available by reservation at 011 5757111, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm, with an extraordinary opening on Saturday 10 October 2026.
