Romarinho signs with Portuguesa until 2027

Portuguesa has announced the signing of striker Romarinho, a former Corinthians icon, on a contract that runs until November 2027. The player will wear the number 21 shirt.

Romarinho is widely recognized for his pivotal role in Corinthians' 2012 Copa Libertadores victory, specifically for scoring a crucial equalizer against Boca Juniors at La Bombonera. Following his success in Brazil, he played for several clubs in the Middle East, including Al-Jaish, Al-Jazira, Al-Ittihad, Neom SC, and Al-Rayyan. His most recent stint in Brazilian football was a brief period with Vitória in 2025 before joining Portuguesa.
