Rome announces call for Musei in Musica 2026 performances

Roma Capitale has released the official call for proposals for the 16th edition of 'Musei in Musica', scheduled for November 21, 2026. The initiative, promoted by the Rome Department of Culture and the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage, involves the organization of Zètema Progetto Cultura.

During the event, the Civic Museums of Rome will remain open for extended evening hours, from 20:00 to 02:00. The program will feature a variety of concerts and live performances selected through a competitive bidding process. Interested entities, associations, and companies must submit their projects by 12:00 on November 3, 2026.

Massimiliano Smeriglio, the Councilor for Culture, noted that the previous year's event drew 34,000 attendees. The funding provided through this call aims to support high-quality artistic projects that animate the city's museum system.
