Rome expands MIC Card cultural benefits and museum access

Rome has expanded the benefits of the MIC Card, transforming it from a museum-focused pass into a broader cultural tool. For a fee of 5 euros, holders receive 12 months of unlimited free access to the city's civic museums, including the Trevi Fountain and various archaeological sites.

The updated card now includes discounts of up to 50 percent on concerts, theatrical performances, cinema screenings, and exhibitions. New partnerships have been established with major cultural institutions, including the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Fondazione Cinema per Roma, and Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

Eligibility for the card is extended to adults residing in or domiciled in Rome and its metropolitan city, as well as students from public and private universities within the territory.
