Rome Film Festival to premiere Michele Mally documentary

The documentary ‘L’ULTIMO ABBRACCIO – Chi come me’, directed by Michele Mally, will have its premiere at the Rome Film Festival on October 19, with a second screening on October 21.

Produced by 3D Produzioni and created in collaboration with Sky Arte, the film is based on the successful stage production ‘Chi come me’ by Andrée Ruth Shammah. The documentary follows five adolescents in a mental health center as they use theater to navigate loneliness, fear, and communication difficulties. It explores contemporary themes such as self-harm, gender dysphoria, and psychological distress through the perspectives of the youth, psychologists, and artists.
