Rome: Fire breaks out in Monteverde Vecchio B&B kitchen

An unexpected fire broke out in the kitchen of a bed and breakfast located in the Monteverde Vecchio district of Rome on Tuesday, August 11. The incident caused significant alarm among guests due to the rapid spread of smoke and the potential for flames to reach adjacent rooms.

Emergency services, including the State Police and Firefighters, responded to the scene on Via Trebio Littore. Police managed traffic and cordoned off the area, while firefighters worked to contain the blaze within the kitchen. Medical teams from ARES 118 were also present as a precaution to treat any potential smoke inhalation.
