Rome hosts educational initiatives and international congress
Rome is hosting significant educational events focused on contemporary challenges and community integration. An international congress titled ‘Drawing New Maps of Hope’ is convening representatives from academic, educational, and ecclesiastical sectors from various continents. Promoted by the Dicastery for Culture and Education, the congress includes conferences, roundtables, and artistic proposals addressing topics such as interiority and the human digital landscape.
Simultaneously, the City of Rome has presented the ‘Educating City Map 2026/2027’. This initiative provides schools with 342 free projects offered by 36 institutions, covering fields such as science, art, technology, and health. A new feature of this program includes experimental free transportation to activity sites to ensure students can access these educational opportunities regardless of economic status.
