Rome hosts taxi charity event for Opera Don Guanella youth

On Saturday, October 3, the “Tutti Taxi per Amore Day – l’abbraccio dei colori” will take place in Rome to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Tutti Taxi per Amore Association. The event features a procession of 100 taxis dedicated to the youth of Opera Don Guanella.

The procession will depart at 8:30 AM from via Aurelia Antica 446, traveling to the Semenzaio di San Sisto. The day will conclude with a musical performance by the Italian Army's Arma Trasporti e Materiali band. The initiative is organized in collaboration with Insieme Next Gen APS and the departments of Social Policies and Health, and Agriculture, Environment and Waste Cycle of Roma Capitale.

Support for the event includes the local police and motorcycle associations AMFO and VPRC, as well as clown performers from Cuore@Cuore. Barbara Funari, the Councilor for Social Policies and Health, described the initiative as a concrete example of civil society fostering inclusion and caring for vulnerable individuals.
