Rome Lazio supporters protest sparks controversy over Pino Insegno's comment on club president

Around 25,000 Lazio fans gathered in Rome on July 2, marching from Ponte Milvio to Piazza Ankara near the Flaminio stadium. The demonstration, organised by the club's supporters, ended with a stage where several VIPs, including television presenter Pino Insegno, addressed the crowd.

Insegno said, "When will we see two dates on Wikipedia?", a remark that was quickly interpreted on social media as a death wish toward Lazio club president Claudio Lotito. Critics accused him of encouraging violence, while Insegno later told reporters the statement was a joke and emphasized he had spoken with Lotito about it.
