Rome: New Sos Roma platform forms to oppose Gualtieri

In Rome, a new civic platform named ‘Sos Roma’ is being organized to oppose the re-election of Mayor Roberto Gualtieri. The initiative, set to launch on October 4 at Cinema Adriano, brings together a diverse group of actors including sovereignists, anti-vaccination activists, environmentalists, and self-employed workers.

Daniele Giannini, a former regional councilor for the Lega, is a key figure in the movement. The platform aims to highlight issues such as urban management, cleanliness, and infrastructure, with organizers expressing concerns regarding Gualtieri’s administration and his level of authority in the capital.
