Rome official narrowly avoids collision with reckless minicar
Iside Castagnola, the Guardian for the Rights of Children and Adolescents for Rome, reported a near-fatal incident involving a reckless minicar driver at the Ponte Milvio intersection. Castagnola stated on social media that a young driver in a grey minicar with loud music cut her off while she was on her scooter. To avoid a violent collision, she was forced to swerve sharply, nearly hitting a pole.
This incident follows a series of aggressive driving reports in Rome, where law enforcement is currently searching for a black minicar involved in multiple assaults across the Monteverde Vecchio and Testaccio neighborhoods. The event has reignited local debate regarding road safety and the conduct of young drivers operating minicars.
