Rome to host exhibitions by Renata Solimini and Renato Guttuso

Rome is hosting two significant art exhibitions in late 2026.

Renata Solimini will present “Oltre ogni confine” at Galleria Vittoria from September 23 to October 9, 2026. The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, and works on paper that explore the cosmos as a metaphysical and existential dimension. The collection includes the imaginary shuttle G.R.A.S.P. and integrates themes from Shakespearean literature and astronomy.

Additionally, the Museo Storico della Fanteria will host “Renato Guttuso – Anima mediterranea” from October 17, 2026, to February 28, 2027. Curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and Marina Giordano, the exhibition showcases approximately sixty works created between the 1930s and 1980s. The collection explores Guttuso’s connection to Sicily and his social engagement through five thematic sections: Volti, Sicilia, Natura viva, nature morte, Artista e società, and Il femminile.
