The itinerary also featured the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Castel Sant'Angelo, and the Catacombs of San Sebastiano along the Via Appia.

For tourists utilizing hop-on/hop-off buses, experts suggest using them primarily during the off-season, between October and March, to avoid heavy crowds and long wait times. While these buses provide direct access to sites like the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, and the Catacombs, many central landmarks such as the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain are located in pedestrian zones, requiring additional walking from the bus stops.
