Romelu Lukaku faces form scrutiny and transfer rumors at Fenerbahçe

Romelu Lukaku is facing scrutiny regarding his current form and playing time at Fenerbahçe. Following a difficult start to the season with limited decisive contributions, Turkish media reports suggest the club may look to recruit a new striker, such as Folarin Balogun, during the winter transfer window if Lukaku does not improve his performance.

In the context of the Belgian national team, Philippe Albert has offered advice to coach Mark van Bommel regarding Lukaku’s role. Albert suggested that Lukaku should focus on mentally preparing for a substitute role to make an impact during the current international period, noting that this approach was successful during the World Cup. Albert also praised Charles De Ketelaere for his technical versatility and performance during recent matches.
