Romeo Doubs records career-high 96 yards in Patriots win

Romeo Doubs rebounded from a difficult season debut to record a career-high 96 receiving yards during the New England Patriots' 20-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After a Week 1 performance against the Seattle Seahawks that resulted in zero receptions and a dropped pass, the 26-year-old wide receiver caught three passes on four targets. His performance included a notable 63-yard reception. Doubs, who signed a four-year, $68 million contract with the team in March, is expected to take on a primary role in the receiving corps while A. J. Brown recovers from a high-ankle sprain.
