Romeo Hunte debuts ‘Ivy Noir’ collection at New York Fashion Week

Designer Romeo Hunte presented his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled ‘Ivy Noir’, during New York Fashion Week. The 35-look presentation featured a blend of tailored preppy aesthetics and New York street style, utilizing architectural construction, elevated denim, and transformable outerwear to bridge masculine and feminine elements.

The event drew significant celebrity attendance, including Gabrielle Union, Yung Miami, NLE Choppa, Rapsody, Key Glock, and Shaqir O’Neal. The runway included models such as Yaya DaCosta, Wendell Lissimore, and singer Lavaud. Hunte, a Brooklyn native, noted that his design language is heavily influenced by the tension between the preppy clothing of his youth and the 1990s street style of his upbringing.
