Romeo Santos launches foundation to support children with autism

Singer Romeo Santos, known as the ‘King of Bachata’, has announced the creation of the Fundación Los Santos, a 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families.

Inspired by his personal experience as a father of a child with autism, Santos aims to provide resources, educational opportunities, and community programs. The foundation’s initial priorities include establishing family resource centers, supporting social development programs, and fostering collaborations with schools and community organizations. The initiative will also offer grants and host private gatherings to engage leaders and supporters.

The announcement has been welcomed by advocacy groups such as the Mesa de Diálogo por el Autismo, which noted that Santos’s international influence can significantly increase awareness and visibility for the neurodiverse community. Santos has committed a personal contribution to the foundation to help launch its mission.
