Rome's Ensemble fashion showcase wraps up at the Pincio Terrace

The fourth edition of Ensemble, a two‑day fashion event, took place on the Terrazza del Pincio in Rome. Organized by Rome Capitale and the Lazio region, the programme paired runway shows from seven fashion academies with collections from eight established Roman couture houses. Designers explored themes such as AI‑driven creativity, up‑cycling and streetwear, while traditional ateliers highlighted artisanal tailoring.

City officials emphasized the event’s strategic role: Alessandro Onorato said the show “gave hundreds of fashion students the chance to present their work in an iconic venue” and underscored Rome’s re‑emergence as a fashion hub. The regional vice‑president, Roberta Angelilli, noted that the Lazio fashion chain generates roughly €1 billion in exports and that the initiative will continue to receive investment to support craftsmanship, innovation and internationalisation. Ensemble forms part of the Roma Smart Tourism project, funded by the Ministry of Tourism.

The event concluded with a final runway featuring designers such as Franco Ciambella, Giada Curti, Nino Lettieri, Antonio Martino Couture, Michele Miglionico and others, showcasing a spectrum of contemporary haute couture that blended poetic silhouettes, graphic rigor and experimental materials.
