Rome's Trullo market hosts second edition of art residency

The second edition of ‘Il Mercato dell’Arte’ will take place in October 2026 at the Trullo market in Rome. This artistic residency project transforms inactive market stalls into temporary ateliers, bringing contemporary art into the daily life of the neighborhood.

Four resident artists—Divisoperzero, Mario D’Amico, Maya Parvanova, and Molecole—will lead projects that involve local residents, merchants, and visitors. The initiative emphasizes a participatory approach, inviting the public to contribute objects, poems, and memories to help shape four collective works.

The ateliers will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 to 14:00, until October 23, 2026. A public presentation of the completed works is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at 18:00.
