Romeu Zema presents campaign commitments to Christians

Romeu Zema and vice-presidential candidate Eduardo Girão have released a letter to Christians outlining 12 campaign commitments. The document advocates for several conservative social and legislative positions.

Key proposals include support for homeschooling and civic-military schools. Regarding drug policy, the ticket argues that changes to drug laws should be decided by the National Congress, specifically opposing the relaxation of recreational marijuana use and stating that medicinal use should not serve as a pretext for irresponsible drug liberalization.

The platform also addresses gambling, proposing legislation to prohibit betting platforms, restricting advertising and sponsorships, and implementing measures to prevent money laundering and sports manipulation. Additionally, the candidates expressed opposition to expanding legal abortion and pledged to defend religious freedom and the autonomy of churches.
