Romina Contreras ranks as top-rated mayor in Mexico

Romina Contreras Carrasco, the municipal president of Huixquilucan, has been identified as one of the highest-rated mayors in Mexico according to nine different polling firms. The surveys, conducted between July and August, evaluate municipal performance in areas such as security, infrastructure, public services, and social development.

Specific rankings include Rubrum, which gave her a performance score of 7.80, placing her first in its ranking. C&E Research recorded a 64 percent approval rating for her in the medium-sized urban category, while Gobernarte placed her first in the Metropolitan Mayors ranking with 67.7 percent approval. Other firms, including Demoscopia Digital and Massive Caller, also positioned her at the top of the rankings within the State of Mexico.

Contreras stated that these evaluations serve as an incentive to increase efforts and maintain an efficient administration focused on healthy finances and public works. She emphasized a commitment to working closely with families to ensure Huixquilucan remains a safe and modern municipality.
