Romina Power celebrates 75th birthday

Singer Romina Power celebrates her 75th birthday on October 2. Her career has been defined by her massive success with the song ‘Felicità’, which she performed at the Sanremo Festival in 1982 alongside her then-husband, Al Bano.

Power’s life has been marked by both significant fame and personal loss. The daughter of Hollywood star Tyrone Power and actress Linda Christian, she grew up between Spain and Italy. She met Al Bano in 1967 during the filming of the music movie ‘Nel sole’ when she was 16 years old. The couple married in 1970 after Power became pregnant.
