ROMU appoints Jeanett Grau Engstrøm as Chief Administrative Officer

The museum organization ROMU has appointed Jeanett Grau Engstrøm as its new Chief Administrative Officer, effective October 1, 2026. Engstrøm will oversee the organization’s administrative functions, including finance, HR, analysis, reporting, IT, facility management, security, and technical services.

Engstrøm brings over 20 years of administrative and leadership experience from various cultural and educational institutions. Her previous roles include leading the international office at Roskilde University and holding administrative leadership positions at the University of Copenhagen, the Royal Danish Theatre, and the Church of Denmark.

Her appointment comes during a period of significant development for ROMU, as the organization expands its responsibilities regarding world heritage and modernizes its economic and digital infrastructure. She will lead a staff equivalent to seven full-time positions and join the ROMU management group to assist in strategic development.
