Romuald Wadagni conducts field visits in northern Benin

Benin President Romuald Wadagni is conducting a series of field visits in the northern Borgou department to engage directly with various sectors of society. During his time in Parakou, the President met with citizens in public spaces and visited the city's military camp to meet with security forces involved in Operation Mirador, a mission dedicated to combating terrorist threats in northern Benin.

In addition to defense and public engagement, Wadagni's itinerary includes visits to the Borgou regional customs directorate to discuss fiscal resource collection, fraud prevention, and working conditions for agents. He has also visited the Borgou departmental hospital. These visits are intended to assess the realities of defense, health, and administration on the ground.
