Romy Awards 2026 to be held in Kitzbühel

The 36th Romy Awards, a prominent film and television prize organized by Kurier in cooperation with ORF, will take place on November 27, 2026, at Schloss Kaps in Kitzbühel. The event is tied to the Kitzbühel Film Festival.

For the first time, the gala will be hosted by the duo of TV presenter Fanny Stapf and German singer Giovanni Zarrella. The nominations were announced on September 11, featuring various ORF stars such as Simone Stribl, Patrick Budgen, and Elke Winkens. Public voting is open until October 13 via the official website.

The ORF will broadcast the ceremony with a delay on ORF 2 starting at 21:20, with additional coverage planned for ORF ON and ORF 1.
