Ron Jaworski steps away from Philadelphia Eagles broadcasts

Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and veteran broadcaster Ron Jaworski has announced he is stepping back from his television work. Jaworski, who has spent the last four seasons providing pre- and post-game coverage for the Eagles on NBC Sports Philadelphia, stated on social media that he has decided to cut back on his broadcasting duties and will not return to the station.

Jaworski brings extensive experience to the industry, including a 27-year career at ESPN, which featured a five-year tenure on Monday Night Football.

NBC Sports Philadelphia confirmed there will be no direct replacement for Jaworski. The station's broadcast team will continue under the leadership of Michael Barkann, supported by Barrett Brooks, Reuben Frank, and Jason Avant.
