Áron Katona’s EMX250 Season Ends Early After Clavicle Surgery
Hungarian motocross rider Áron Katona, competing for the Van Venrooy KTM Racing team in the EMX250 class of the FIM European Championship, saw his 2026 season end prematurely after sustaining a clavicle fracture during a training session. He underwent successful surgery and, despite a strong year that included a podium finish and a second‑place result in the season‑ending event in Portugal, will now focus on rehabilitation.
Katona expressed optimism about his recovery, stating that the setback does not diminish his motivation and that he aims to return to EMX250 competition in the 2027 season.
