Ron Ng discusses career struggles and relationship views

Actor Ron Ng recently participated in an interview on the online program ‘Hong Cha Guan’, where he addressed rumors regarding his relationship with co-star Stacey Kwan and shared insights into his personal life and career history.

Regarding relationships, Ng outlined three key criteria for a partner: beauty, gentleness, and the ability to provide emotional support through communication and shared hobbies. He expressed a preference for a natural progression in romance rather than rushing into marriage.

Reflecting on his early career, Ng recalled the intense physical and mental exhaustion of filming historical dramas. He described a period where he went seven consecutive days without sleep while filming ‘Hero Blade’, leading to frequent mistakes due to mental fatigue. During this time, he reached a breaking point and called his mother to express his desire to quit, but her encouragement helped him persevere.

Ng also discussed the challenges of performing emotional scenes and the physical toll of performing his own action sequences. He mentioned experiencing strange sensations of being unable to move while filming ‘Sui Tang Dynasty’, which he attributed to extreme exhaustion.
