Ron Wood to exhibit artwork at Neues Kunstmuseum Tübingen

Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood will present a collection of his paintings and various artworks at the Neues Kunstmuseum in Tübingen, Germany, starting Thursday, October 22.

Wood’s artistic work includes portraits of iconic figures such as Elvis Presley and Amy Winehouse, as well as studies influenced by Old Masters like Rembrandt, Velázquez, and Caravaggio. The musician has expressed a particular affinity for German Expressionism, citing an appreciation for the bold colors and emotional intensity found in the works of artists ranging from Albrecht Dürer to Gerhard Richter.

In addition to the exhibition, Wood is expected to attend an event in Tübingen in early December.
